About the 2010 Roots & Folk Festival:
Adams Avenue Roots & Folk Festival is a FUN, FREE two-day music festival which focuses on the promotion, preservation and performance of local and nationally touring musical acts.
The Adams Avenue Business Association will proudly present the 37th Annaul Roots Fest on Adams on Saturday and Sunday, April 24 & 25 2010. Over 40,000 visitors attended this FUN, FREE two-day festival last year. We hope all of you who attended enjoyed the live music performances, the vendors and the merchant shops along the Adams Avenue Business District and will return for more this year.
The genres featured this year were Acoustic, Folk, Traditional Roots Music, Appalacian Folk Songs, Gypsy jazz, Tango, Delta Blues, Organic Kid Folk, Bluegrass, Reggae, Blues and Rockabilly. There will be a lot of toe tapping going on in front of the 4 stages as well as fun throughout the event venue. Wth many new things being developed to bring you and your family more fun and excitement with highlights of music, food and drink. The 2010 Roots Fest on Adams will prove to be one event you must attend.

The Adams Avenue Business Association will be working again with the lafayette Hotel located at 2223 El Cajon Boulevard to offer specials and luxury rooms for the performers as well as the event visitors.
