Projects

The AABA carries out projects to improve the area. Some of the past projects include working with the City of San Diego to replace and repair sidewalks, install decorative street lights and planting curbside trees. In 2008 under the Maintenance Assessment District (MAD), we have replaced 25 trash receptacles, installed 25 new tree well grates and repaired over 40 existing tree well grates.

Throughout 2010, we will continue the MAD projects with hanging 180 street light banners while continuing to maintain the Adams Avenue Maintenance Assessment District.

Other projects we are currently working on include a Business Development Plan. This will give the AABA tools to build a better business district through improving parking and transit in the district, identify needed public improvement projects, and attract new or retain existing businesses to develop a vibrant neighborhood businesss district.
