Adams Avenue Unplugged
Adams Avenue Unplugged takes place the weekend of April 25 and 26, along a two-mile stretch of Adams Avenue, from University Heights on the West through Normal Heights, and into parts of Kensington to the East. The event will feature 150 live musical performances staged inside restaurants, bars, coffee houses and galleries lining the neighborhood and on four community stages evenly spread out throughout the district.
Music is scheduled from 12-noon to 10pm on Saturday, April 25, and 12-noon to 8pm on Sunday, April 26. Some artists will be playing multiple sets allowing attendees more opportunity to catch their favorite performers.

ACCION San Diego Workshop
ACCION San Diego is hosting its annual “Small Business Boot Camp” on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. – noon. “Six Key Steps to Starting a Business” at 8:30 a.m. will predominantly focus on starting a home-based business. This event will feature a resource center, networking opportunities, and two specialized programs led by a team of small business coaches. The Start-Up Program is specially designed for new and aspiring business owners, while the Growth Program is for seasoned business owners. The Boot Camp is free to all attendees. Register HERE
