Do you love the business district along Adams Avenue from Kensington through Normal Heights and into sections of University Heights?  To get involved, consider being part of the AABA, which has two openings on the Board of Directors. Responsibilities of each board member will include but not be limited to: a) participation in at least one monthly committee meeting (held at 8 am varying weekdays), and b) attendance at all board meetings at 8 am on the first Tuesday of the month. If interested, please contact the office at 619-282-7329.

The 17th annual Taste of Adams Avenue will take place Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The event runs along Adams Avenue from University Heights through Normal Heights to Kensington. This gastronomic trek will feature over 40 restaurants, coffee houses, pubs, wine bars and unique eateries in one of San Diego’s hottest and historic neighborhoods. Tickets are for sale at www.tasteofadams.com or beginning June 1 at participating venues. Pre-sale tickets are $35 and event day tickets are $40.

The 36th Annual Adams Avenue Street Fair, Southern California’s largest free two-day music festival, will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017. The event also features beer gardens and beer tastings, giant carnival rides, festival foods and more than 350 arts and crafts booths.
