Adams Avenue Business Association Annual Report and Breakfast Meeting

The AABA will be holding our annual breakfast meeting on January 30 at 8:00 am at El Zarape Restaurant, 3201 Adams Avenue.

Please join us to socialize with your neighboring businesses and property owners, and sample breakfast cuisine prepared by El Zarape chefs.

This annual meeting is also the time when we elect the 2018 Board of Directors, review last year’s accomplishments, and hear from our elected officials.

New Street Banners and Banner Sponsorship Underway

“Opportunities Still Available”

The Adams Avenue Business Association is preparing to install newly designed banners to adorn the top of the green antique light poles along Adams Avenue and 30th Street beginning late January.

AABA members are being given an opportunity to sponsor a banner with their at the bottom of the banner. These banners will remain on Adams Avenue and 30th Street for 4 to 5 years with the exception of the two month holiday season, late November through January, when our holiday banners are displayed. Businesses can also request which light post along Adams Avenue or 30th Street they would like their banner to be placed. Banner sponsorship is $100.00 per pole/banner for the 4 to 5 year life of the banners. One additional banner per business is available and discounted 50%… two banner limit due to the popularity of the program.

Previously, we asked businesses interested in this opportunity to submit camera ready artwork of their business name. However, after consultation with our graphic artist and referencing the city’s banner guidelines, we no longer need this submission. Rather instead, please submit the full name of your business to be displayed on the graphic. See above banner graphic sample as an example.
