Adams Avenue Bicycles Grand Opening
Adams Avenue Bicycles is under new ownership and hosting their Grand Opening on Thursday, October 30th from 4-8 PM. The first three people to purchase a 2015 bicycle get a 20% discount and a free helmet. Show up and help welcome the new owners to the neighborhood
The World’s Biggest Bottle Share on 30th Street
Join friends and make new ones during the busiest craft beer weekend in America’s craft beer capital! The World’s Biggest Bottle Share on 30th Street will give you and your friends the chance to make history and enjoy sharing great craft beer in the process.
In celebration of this glorious “brewer’s” week (kind like a baker’s dozen, only more fun), and in the spirit of sharing that we all grew up with, we are applying to set a Guinness World Record for the World’s Biggest Bottle Share!
How it works
1. Buy: Buy your ticket HERE
2a. Pre-register: Pick up your registration materials in advance at any of these locations: Bottlecraft, Bine and Vine, Kwik Stop, California Liquor, Best Damn Beer Shop, Quality Liquor
OR
2b. Day-of Register: Pick up your registration materials on the day of between 10am and noon from any of the even registration stations.
3. Line up: Line up along 30th Street anywhere from Polite Provisions to Alchemy/Hamilton’s by 12:00 p.m. sharp! Help us make an awesome human chain of craft beer lovers!
4. Photos: Pose for photos with local celebrities, friends and the world’s most amazing brewers while we cruise the route with Go-Pro cameras and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for the Interwebs
5. RIDE: You’ll get a wristband that allows you to ride the length of 30th Street stopping at multiple locations to share beer, buy from the bar and chat about adventures with friends!
State of California Unveils New Tax Credit for Employee Expansion
Speaker of the California Assembly, Toni Atkins, and our own 78th Assembly District Representative, is promoting a new program designed to help small business owners. The California Competes Tax Credit is an income tax credit available to businesses who seek to add new employees. Applications are accepted online and it is free to apply at www.calcompetes.ca.gov
