Adams Avenue Unplugged returns after a 2-year hiatus on Saturday, April 30, 2022, noon – 10:00pm

This unique music walkabout takes place along a two-mile stretch of Adams Avenue.
Unplugged is free* and open to the public (*except for headliner John Doe’s concert).
The 2022 Adams Avenue Unplugged will feature more than 50 artists performing in select venues from Kensington through Normal Heights and University Heights.
This year’s headliner is the legendary front man of LA punk band X singer-songwriter John Doe. (Read UT music preview John Doe) He will perform one set on Saturday evening in the intimate sanctuary of the Normal Heights United Church. Tickets for the John Doe concert are limited to 200 seats and are $25 each. This show is sure to sell out, get your tickets while they last. This year’s Unplugged event will feature performances staged in 20 participating restaurants, bars, and coffeehouses, along Adams Avenue. From East to West the venues include: Twiggs Cafe, Cantina Mayahuel, Original Swan Bar, AC Lounge, Wormwood, Hawthorn Coffee, El Zarape, Triple Crown Pub, Ska Bar, Lestats / Maya Moon, Ould Sod, Rabbit Hole, Sycamore Den, Rosie O’Grady’s, Blind Lady Ale House, Normal Heights Methodist Church, Dos Palmas, Haven Pizzeria, Ken Club, Kensington Cafe.
Music fans can catch their favorite artists while patronizing the many local businesses along the Adams Avenue corridor. In addition to the superb music and a plethora of drinking and dining options, a craft beer garden will be located at the Normal Heights Methodist Church next to the Main Stage (4650 Mansfield St). A $19 pre-sale VIP beer and food ticket (3 craft beers & Mexican combination plate) is available via the Unplugged website. Organizers encourage ridesharing and mass transit (MTS #2 & 11). Adams Avenue will be open to traffic.
