Hi there, I’m Logan from Zero Foodprint, and I’m going to cut to the chase. Farmers are having a hard time right now, and restaurants have the power to support them and restore the climate. Zero Foodprint is planning an event to make that fun and effortless. We’re assembling a group of restaurants across the nation to join us for one week in April to unfork the planet – and we’d like to invite your restaurant to be a part of the fun.
Here’s what you need to know:
• We’re a James Beard award-winning non-profit. We know good food, and we know how to get grants to farmers (7 million+ and counting!) so they can heal our soil and restore the climate.
• “Unfork the Planet” is a week-long campaign in San Diego from April 7th-13th that celebrates climate-smart food.
• Signing up is easy, and we’ll give you access to all sorts of marketing materials and ways to support the farmers in your area.
• Many San Diego businesses have already joined: 31ThirtyOne, Herb & Wood, Herb & Sea, The Fishery, Finca, Wayfarer Bread, Dija Mara, Bivouac, Kingfisher and counting.
